"new mom" registry!
Maybe it's just me but I was just looking for something on Fortunoff's website and saw a link to this! It's to register for jewelry for yourself and you are supposed to give your DH the registry number! I think this is absurd!

Makes everyone happy.... You get what you want, and DH doesn't have to wander around random jewelry stores looking for random rocks that he thinks look good. That's usually a recipe for disaster...

Sorry I don't agree, I still think it's ridiculos. I personally think it's not ok to expect jewelry for being a new mom. If my DH wants to buy me something he will do it on his own! And when I was a new mom he did!

I can totally see a girl doing this and in a way I can understand it. This wouldn't exsist years ago but I can see it exsisting now a days. It makes sense. Would I do it? No.... b/c that's just something I would never do.

Here, here I think it's awful that some people are preoccupied with receiving a material gift when they should be focusing on the beautiful arrival of their baby. I think it's shallow.
