New Mac user with a question...
I made the switch from PC to Mac yesterday after my beloved laptop got infected with something and freaked out on me.
I had an itunes account and a very old ipod that I used with my PC. When I logged in to the itunes store on my new computer, I thought that all of the songs I had purchased over the past few years would be there. They're not. Why not? How do I get them there? Is that even possible?
Help a newbie out!

Re: New Mac user with a question...
my FH had this same problem...he ended up saving all the song files to a separate disk in a folder then importing the whole folder over to the mac. It apparently worked, but too him a loong time. Hopefully you can find a program that will do it for you!

I don't know if you have an external hard drive but I uploaded all my music to an external hard drive and then downloaded it to my new computer

I was fooled by the subject line.......
The only Mac I know about is the type you can apply with a brush!

Hmmmm - my entire PC basically shut down from this virus and I'm not sure if I can even access the music files - if I can, what is the likelihood that they are corrupt?
