New Here and Question About Dr Zapantis
Hello. I am seeking information any of you ladies may have regarding out of pocket costs for an IUI (including monitoring) from Dr Zapantis (NY Reproductive Wellness).
My husband and I conceived our daughter in 2009 through an IUI with injections but at that time we did not live on LI and used an RE in Westchester. We returned to this RE this past March (hoping all would go as it did in 2009) but we had a BFN IUI with injections. We spent a lot of money at this RE with OOP costs as we maxed out our IF insurance back in 2009.
We are exploring the possibility of trying for another medicated IUI (I really thought we were done back in March) but if the cost is manageable for our current budget we are strongly considering trying again with a new RE.
I've read some great reviews regarding Dr. Zapantis. I am trying to avoid having to go in for a consult and then finding out OOP costs are too much. Emotionally, I just can't go there right now. As I said before I really thought we were done after March and the IF roller coaster is too emotional a ride to just jump back into.
Any help would be great regarding this RE's OOP costs for an IUI with monitoring.

New Here and Question About Dr Zapantis
First, let me say that Dr. Z is my doctor and he is amazing. I have a child from him, and I am working on another one right now. He is just my favorite person! If you have any questions, send me a FM or ask here.
What I would do is call the office. Lisa will help you with the finance stuff. Call, be honest about everything, and just ask. They are all so nice there. I love his new office. LOVE.

I actually had an IVF consult with him...he was genuinely a nice person and explained everything...what I did not like was when I asked about how much the IVF procedure would cost they told me to call either rsofny or nsuh since that is where it would be performed...I really did not like that since if they are the ones who would be my RE they should answer the question...I also did not like that he does not have his own lab but that is me...def make a consult and see if you like him!!!

I spoke to Lisa today before making a consult and she gave me all the financial information I was seeking. She was very nice and informative. Made our consultation appointment which will be in beginning of October. Have some things we need to figure out with Dr. Zapantis
