New here and cycle length question

Hi ladies! First of all congratulations to you all! Hope you are having great pregnancies!

DH and I decided to start ttc recently. I stopped birth control pills about 3 months ago, had my last period on bc on November 8. Then had a regular 28 day cycle off bc. I was due for af on January 3. Still waiting and took hpt yesterday with a bfn. So far this cycle has been 52 days long. I know it can take a few months for hormones to regulate but I feel like this cycle has been going on forever.


Just wanted to get some input about how long it took for your cycles to regulate after stopping bc and what your longest cycles were. I know it's personal but any input is appreciated.

I had a similar issue. My first month off bc was a 29 day cycle then the next cycle was almost 40 days. Then the next was 27 days lol so crazy. I got pregnant the next cycle and it seemed to be on track to be another 27-28 day cycle based on my bbt. So hope this helps
