I still can't believe it, but I got my BFP yesterday morning! I tested again today and it's still there  This will be our first baby! We are so excited!
I called my OBGYN and they want to see me the first week of January...I was hoping I would be able to go in earlier, but they want me to wait till I'm 8 weeks.
DH an I wanted to share the big news with our parents on Christmas...if we aren't going to the dr. till after Christmas should I hold off or should we stick with our plan?
Also, how much water do you ladies drink? I'm NOT a water person and know I will have to choke it down.
I wish all of you a healthy and happy 9 months!

Congrats!! Soo exciting:) I told my immediate family rigth after I peed on a stick!! couldnt hold it in.. its our first too so I was super excited about it! I think its all personal preference but some people wait til the first appt when they see the heartbeat to tell the family but I couldnt hold it in. I have a big mouth lol!

Congrats! I waited until we heard the heartbeat to tell our parents but its just a personal choice. I know a lot of people who told before.
I believe we are suppose to drink 64oz of water - I could be wrong though.

Congrats! Our original plan was to wait until after our first appointment but I caved and told my parents which lead to us tell DH's parents. But it was nice and they were all under strict orders not to tell anyone until we heard a heartbeat!

We will probably tell them and do the same with giving them strict orders not to tell anyone!

Yay welcome! These last few weeks until my appt have dragged at least u have the holidays to speed it up. We were waiting until Xmas but might tell later this week after the appt tomorrow

Congrats!! Pregnant with our first and we told our families right after I peed on the stick...couldn't keep the excitement! But they were also told not to tell ANYONE until I gave the okay.
Happy and Healthy nine months! :)

We waited 7 weeks until after our first visit...but that was DH being cautious....I wanted to tell my close family right away. He wouldn't let me.
