New at infertility... wondering your thoughts....

I posted recently about one working ovary/ history of pcos/ low egg count...
We started last month-- and my af is sporatic...

I just want to say that I appreciate anything you can tell me... because i was not expecting to start trying to soon after my first and I am still in shock over all this...

took a test and it is neg. doctor said I should go about meetinh with a specialist (she rec some but I don't know about them since they're in brooklyn/nyc)

Who have you been to and why do you like him/her?

Also.... is there anything specific i should be askign when i go?

Basically- I'm at a loss for words... doctor said to try for six months and see if i can get rpegnant naturally... but highly doubts it...

second opinion doctor told me to give my body three more months before i even start trying...( i had a baby in over the summer) - and that most likely will need clomid...

Not sure if I should go for a third opinion?

I'm sorry you are going through this. It sounds like you should see an RE which is someone who specializes in dealing with issues like yours. I go to Long Island IVF and have been happy with them. Good luck to you!

if your AF is sporadic and you dont know when/if you ovulated, how do you know that you are even out this cycle?

if you are, i wouldnt bother with another ob/gyn. REs specialize in getting you pregnant and it sounds like thats the kind of doctor you need.

i see Dr. Braverman in Woodbury and he got me pregnant. I also have PCOS. it took a while, two chemical pregnancies, and one IVF. but im a little over 12w now. and he is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.

good luck!
