I am going through the same thing although we don't have the baby's room anywhere near done. It's not even completely cleaned out or painted yet...still has ugly old wood panelling. The poor kid won't have a room till he or she is probably at least 6 months old.
So instead I'm crocheting like crazy and doing other things around the house like crazy!
Be careful with yuor back! I know it is so hard not to overdo it!
