Nesting is FUN, but hard work!
so for the past 3 days i have been wanting to re-organize our living room.....and today - i FINALLY had the 'gusto' to do it!!!!!!!
i moved the couch (it slides) and moved a 'collectible cabinet thingy' (using the moving men pad things - those ROCK btw) to the corner - turned around another cabinet and vacuumed every place that was now empty. The room looks sooooooooooooooooooooo much bigger!!!!!!!!!!
the last thing to do - and i'm waiting on dave for this one....is clean out the coffee table - it's the LAST bit of 'clutter' in the living room!!!!!!
i'm so happy and tired, but proud!!!!
what have your nesting projects been????

You are funny! Good for YOU!
I've been lazier than ever...but that's because I'm so achy lately. Back has been messed up.
Next project is to move the computer out of the baby's room and put together the crib! Can't wait for that! Oh and put the curtains up too but I'm waiting for the hardware to come in first.

Good for you Jess!!
I felt the urge to nest a few weeks ago when we did a lot of work on 's room but now everything is at a standstill because I can't decide on a rocker and a rug.
My motivation = zero.

my mom said the same thing! I PROMISE i only had to slide the couch - using my knees! It literally moved like it was on ice!

Good for you!
I've been a maniac about having clean laundry. I despise letting it pile up until the weekend..
I dust and straighten every single day....
I have some major projects that are in my head that I think about when I am awake in the middle of the night (getting the baby's room ready, relocating all my crap from that room)...
I also want to make sure my kitchen cabinets are organized - they are so cluttered...
I want my DH to hang pegs for the swiffer and swiffer wet jet...
I have a whole list!!

Re: Nesting is FUN, but hard work!
OMG, Jess, I hear you! My living room is overrun with the baby's furniture because her room isn't ready yet but we've been on a roll.
I bought the Moving Men too (glad to hear they work great, haven't had the chance to use them yet!), just so we can get her furniture in when the room is done! I can't wait to start doing her laundry and putting her clothes away and setting everything up.
This week we're (well, DH) is painting her room and we have the carpet being installed on Wednesday. I'm hoping by the weekend I can have her room set up. I also need to finish clearing out our bedroom so we can have her in the bassinet in the beginning.
I'm tired just thinking of all the things we need to do this week.
