Nervous about dr's appt tonight *Update*

So last Monday I had borderline high BP and protein in urine. I had to go for a 24 hr protein screen, and stopped working as of Friday morning. I also had to go for a BP check on Friday. I barely passed the protein screen, but my BP was a bit lower than it had been on Monday and my urine was OK.

She told me though that if my BP was high tonight, they would probably send me to the hospital. I went today to get a mani/pedi and when I got out of there, I had a slight headache (can be a sign of high BP). Now I'm trying to be calm and lay down since I have about 2 hours until my appt, but I'm kinda freaking out...not going to help BP!! I'm so nervous I could puke.

Oh my goodness Kim, you need to calm down!!!! Breathe!

Don't panic - just try to wait patiently for the appt, and if tonight's the night, tonight's the night!

Lots of luck for your appt later!

The good thing is that you are pretty much fully "cooked" already, if they do say you should go to the hospital for induction or anything, you are just a week away from your EDD.

I'd hope for the best and prepare for that "what-if" scenario at this point, just in case.

Thanks ladies!! I'm making sure the last of the items I need to put into my hospital bag are done, and my cell is fully charged. I'm even going to pack up my laptop before our appointment just in case, and make sure the animals are fed.

I wish my house was a bit cleaner, but oh well, that is what my mom plans on doing while I'm still in the hospital, so at least I'm not leaving her bored . If tonight is not the night, then I KNOW they are sending me after my next Monday's appointment (if I haven't gone naturally by then) so I will spend this week cleaning the house

So my BP was normal and there was no protein in my urine!

The only downside is that now instead of not letting me go past 40 weeks, I'm back to 41 weeks being the cut-off, so it may be two more weeks before I can see Nuggy
