Nervous
Hello! I am a regular poster on the TTC board, but I am not public about being pregnant yet. I'm about 7.5 weeks and saw the heartbeat on Thursday at 117. My obgyn said she was happy with that. I have barely had symptoms which I consider myself very lucky! A little queasiness here and there, but not much.....very tired......and very slight breast tenderness. I noticed they were more full and heavy, only slightly tender. Yesterday I woke up and my boobs seem to be back to normal! They aren't tender and don't feel as dense. I hardly had queasiness either. Has this happened to anyone else? Of course everything I google is saying sign of missed miscarriage which is scary.

First....CONGRATS!!!
Second...DON'T GOOGLE!!!!!
Third...symptoms are going to come and go. I didn't have ANY symptoms except hip pain until 5.5 weeks where I threw up EVERY DAY ALL DAY until about 16 weeks and then was nauseous ALL DAY until 20 weeks. My breasts never got heavy or tender or sore. I didn't have a metal taste in my mouth. I didn't get heartburn. I didn't have anything besides the throwing up...and peeing every 5 minutes. I am now currently 31 weeks pregnant with a healthy I know it's easier said then done but try to relax. The only time you should start to worry is when you have severe cramping (light cramping is normal) and heavy bleeding where you have to change your pad often (light spotting is also normal).
Good luck and healthy 9 months!

This
I went for my first appt at 6w. The nausea started at 7.5w and lasted about a week. Then the straight up vomiting (sorry TMI) lasted from then till about 15/16 weeks. My boobs were only tender for a few days and that's it. I also had cramping (but no spotting) for the first 8 weeks or so.
Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different.
congrats again!!
Oh, and keep in mind, just because you feel one way today doesn't mean you're going to feel that way tomorrow.

Thank you for your response! Yes, google is the devil and I swear you know it's a bad idea, but do it anyway! My obgyn had said MC rate drops to 5% after a HB is detected, but it seems like everyone on the Internet has had one! So hard to control anxiety this early. I feel like a crazy person!

It's true, lots of people do have miscarriages and it's more common than people think - BUT .. it's MOST common to NOT have a miscarriage and for things to just work out and go smoothly. I always try to remind myself of the experiences of the majority of the population I'd rather put stock in, rather than the 20% where it does not work out.
(this is just my practical way of looking at it .. and though I've had mannnnny losses in the past, it makes me feel better to remember that most of the time things work out fine)

Re: Nervous
It is way more likely that your hormones aren't affecting you as much today. During early pregnancy symptoms change from day to day. While people do have missed miscarriages, it is far less likely. I would monitor your symptoms over the next few days.

I would definitely NOT google!! I would say though if you are concerned maybe give your dr a call Monday and see if they'll let you come in for a follow up sooner to ease your mind.

Nervous
I am 6 & 1/2 weeks, and have had some intermittent spotting (with very light bleeding) for the last few days. No pain, super exhausted. Today there was more spotting than the other days, so of course I am FREAKING OUT. When I called my doctor last week, the office sent me for blood work to confirm pregnancy, had the second blood drawn on Friday... so now it's just a waiting game until tomorrow, when you better believe I will be calling my doctors office and demanding to be seen then. I cannot go another day with this anxiety. I just need to know what's going on - either way.
