Neighbor's gate put a hole in my camper door!

I am beyond pizzed our brand new camper has a hole in the door which aligns perfectly with the latch on my neighbors gate (same shape and size as the hole) I think her landscapers left the gate open and the wind sent it right into my camper door. I can't prove who did it, but there is no denying her gate did it. I wish I would have noticed when the landscapers were there.

She is 93+ years old so I am not going to harass her about it, I am just going to have to eat the cost of getting a new door.

That sucks.... keep in mind that if it happened once, it will definitely happen again. Your camper can't be in the way of the swing path of the gate. Why does it swing into your yard? Shouldn't it swing into hers? She's essentially using part of your property in that case.

We put a big rock in front of the camper to stop it from happening again. She has a big barn like gate opening and the one door opens all the way right into our drive. I wish we would have realized that it was a potential problem before it put a hole in the camper door.
