Need your help with stuff for the beach from BTDT moms...
I need to get to the beach ASAP..lol!
I have never used an umbrella, then I saw a beach tent, type thing, and just don't know which are good. DS is almost 18 months, so I don't even know if he will stay under the thing...
Also, I saw a life vest type thing for a 30lb-50lb chld make by stearns called the puddle jumper. DS is exactly 30 lbs. Have any of you used this?

Get an umbrella, dig a big hole underneath it, put him in the hole with all his sand toys and get a bucket of water.
We're at the beach a lot (year round) and DD plays for a while like that. Lately she's obsessed with going in the ocean with us in the waves so it's been hard but at 18 months she was content playing in the sand under the umbrella for a while.
Bring lots of snacks & water.
The puddle jumper looks great, DD isn't 30 lbs yet so we opted for the floatsafe arm floaties for the pool. We brought them to the beach this weekend but didn't use them, DH just held her in the ocean.
