Need two pieces of furniture...
Maybe you girls can help me. I need to get two additional pieces for my LR.
I want a long skinny console table to put on my back wall behind my sofa where the boxes are now.
I also want a cabinet I can use for storage of additional glassware and serving pieces-- but don't want it to be too chunky. So I was thinking if a piece with like two cabinets (kinda like instead of drawers), but where it was open on the bottom, or maybe a shelf instead.
Here are some not so great pics of the LR, and pics of our coffee table and the end tables we just ordered.
COffee Table
I kinda had this piece in mind for the console table, but not sure of color... I like to mix and match stuff, so I don't care that it doesn't "match" per se, but would like it to coordinate.
And this is the concept for the storage piece. I like this one, but not the color and it's too much for us to spend right now anyway.

Bob's has some nice "servers" for your storage piece.
Servers
Also, check JC Penney furniture - they have great stuff.
I got a buffet from Ikea years ago too and still in great condition, but I think a little too big for what you're looking for.

Have you tried Overstock?
I love most of their pieces. Most of their stuff is under $1000.
When you get to Overstock - type chests into the search bar. Then try cabinets. Then try storage furniture. Sometimes it's easier and faster to use the search bar...

This console table is pretty neat. It almost matches the top of your coffee table.

the one I posted is from Pottery Barn. The Tivoli console table. I like it because it's very long (84") and I want something of that length and I htink the price is pretty good ($499).
