Need to learn Spanish
Any suggestions? At home programs? Online stuff?
And which do I want- Spain or Latin America? I want to learn because I am seeking a teaching job and there is a need for bilingual teachers.

Re: Need to learn Spanish
I used Pimsleur's CD's to learn Cantonese. They have all kinds of different languages. Also, I have heard that Rosetta Stone is good too.

Re: Need to learn Spanish
I don't know which ones are best, but in regards to your question as to Spain v. Latin America - in my opinion I'd go with Latin America. While every country has their own dialects or pronunciations for certain words, most latin american countries speak similar Spanish. The only people that speak Spanish like the people in Spain are, well, the people in Spain It's all the same language, but in Spain they have special pronunciations for certain letters etc. that is basically mostly used only in Spain. I think you'd have a more general knowledge if you took up L. America. HTH.
