Need theme/color scheme ideas
We are having a joint 1st/31st birthday for me and DD since I didn't get to have a 30th birthday party last year...
There will be kids there, but not a whole lot, the party is mostly for adults.
I am totally stumped, and I know a lot of you are aware of my strong aversion to anything pink
Any ideas?

Re: Need theme/color scheme ideas
how about vintage?
I was thinking of doing the same, DS and I, joint birthday.
Red and pale blue and incorporate cars and trains. We're both obsessed with them.
I think you can girl it up, with some butterflies and ladybugs.
here its done with sock monkey:
bike theme:
vintage flowers:

So I guess my enchanted forest, pink, lavendar, green theme is out?
How about yellow duckies? Safari animals? Farm animals?
Also, tell me when this party is so we don't do ours the same day!

Re: Need theme/color scheme ideas
You could do a Yo Gabba Gabba 70s kind of theme with tie dyed, rainbows and flowers. You could even take it a step further and have people dress up in 70s clothing. Or just do 70s without the Yo Gabba. I made these great rainbow cupcakes for my DD and Ds's b-day in October.

Re: Need theme/color scheme ideas
the animal print could be really cute... you can absolutely find more adult versions of animal print and more "child" versions for party items!!
FUN!
