need some hugs
hello, i do not post often but i am on this board often...next month we start our first iui...we would have started this month but timing was not on our side. I was praying that maybe we would get lucky this month on our own but no luck i just can't shake being depressed about it this month I am happy that we finally have some answers and a plan in place...I guess I am just sad in general that we are even in this boat and have been for so long now. We have a child already which I am so thankful for everyday and the thought of not being able to give our DC a sibling just breaks my heart. Secondary infertility is just so puzzling and makes me sad that it not only affects me and DH but in a way, our DC too.
I am also scared for whats ahead...it's already been so hard the past 18 month with disappointment after disappointment that when we start treatment I just feel that if it doesn't work that disappointment will just hurt even more. I am also scared that if we are successful with treatment that i will just have another mc... i am trying so hard to stay positive but some days i just do not want to be positive and just want to cry (and eat comfort food all day long)
Just want some good news already and get out of this fog that i am.
Thanks for listening to me.

Re: need some hugs
Don't blame yourself for feeling down, it happens. It would be crazy to think that struggling with IF and every month that it doesn't happen, you can go on being positive ALL the time. I am a strong believer, that the day you are feeling down, go with it. Let yourself, cry, be angry, frustrated, etc, BUT after you let it all out, you can pick yourself up again and know that tomorrow is another day and hopefully a much better one.

IF is very hard to deal with, it is completely normal to feel down. Hoping the best for you!
