need some help and advice.. PLEASE!!
Hi Ladies...
I am sure this isn't the place to be posting this, but I can't post on LIweddings for fear of lurkers...
I am getting married in October and have invited people from my job.. I have a friend that I see every once in a while who was friends with a co-worker of mine who is invited to the wedding. THis friend has sort of bashed this girl in the past and I never thought she wanted to be friends with her again... I never talk about my co-worker, but I ahve mentioned some things to her like I wasn'[t sure if she liked me or not...
SO... ever since my co-worker got married, my friend has been dying to get in touch with her (mind you she has NEVER asked about co-worker before)... she has called me 3 TIMES to ask if she can be seated with my co-worker so they can catch up. My invites are out and the response date isn't until sept 16th.. I am starting to feel my wedding is a chance for her to catch up with this girl, since she is so concerned about sitting with her.. I understand she won't know anyone else, but she has gone out of her way to ask me THREE times... if she can sit with my co-worker..
I am offended that she would even ask me, and I told her that at this point I knew they knew each other and I def had that in my head, but I didn't know numbers yet...
what do you all think of this? am i being too sensitive?

Well, three times is overdoing it, but I could see her asking, especially if she won't know anyone else there. Weddings are a change to celebrate marriage, but also for family and friends to meet and catch up...She might have gone a little too far, but I wouldn't think anything of it.

3 times is a lot, but maybe she's really insecure about not knowing anyone else at the wedding.
I honored any requests we got for seating, we knew we weren't going to get to spend a bunch of time with everyone, so that way they at least had someone to talk to and have fun with
