Need some good vibes sent this way - UPDATED
I am heading to see the RE tomorrow morning to see if the 100mg of clomid did the trick this time. Last cycle, I was on 50mg and my follies were not big at all. I PRAY that my follies are big enough and we can FINALLY have our first IUI. Send some "big follie" vibes this way please!!

Just got back from the RE. I am only on CD10, but am so discouraged. My uterine lining looked good and I had lots of small follicles. I know it's early on in my cycle (I usually have long cycles) but I was hoping there would be one follie that stood out - I am progressing on the metformin (I O last cycle), increased my dosage of clomid to 100mg, and have been going to acupuncture consistently. Why didn't I get better news?

Don't get discouraged. How big were your follies? Maybe next month you can try injectibles. Clomid woks in your brain to "fool" your body into thinking it does not have enough fsh so produces more thereforew increasing your follie count. Injectibles work directly on the ovaries. I think MrsMessina had the same issue maybe FM her.

It's still early, many people don't get real growth until later in the cycle, like at day 16 or so. Hoping you see growth soon!
That said, I have to tell you that I never produced a follie bigger than 10mm even on 150 mg of Clomid. But, I have had a great response to injectibles. Good luck!

Thank you everyone for your encouragement. I know it's still early, but I was just hoping for more. The PA said I had lots of small follies (I don't even think she measured them). I just REALLY want a shot it this month - if not, it will be another wasted cycle on clomid.

Its still early!
I don't know if it makes you feel any better, but I didn't do very well on 50 or 100mg, it took 150 to really get my ovaries going.
