Need some good vibes
I know I don't post on here too much as this being my first child I don't know too much! My doctors nurse called me today and told me I am a carrier of the SMA gene, which she said is a particularly dibilitating disease. My husband now has to see if he is a carrier. If he's not a carrier than the baby cannot have this disease. If he is a carrier there is a 50/50 chance the baby will have this disease and then I will have to have an amnio to confirm if the baby has it or not. I am flipping out and have been an emotional wreck all day. Even my husband is flipping out. We can use some good vibes that this baby is happy and HEALTHY!!!
