Need some BD advice

So since I do not do well with the IUI's, we are doing the old fashioned route this month. I did my injections, went for monitoring, and fri had 1 follicle measuring 20. So I triggered friday night. We BD on thursday night (coincidence, didn't think I'd have a 20 on fri) and last night. Now I am definitely ovulating - I can feel it. So my question is, should we BD this afternoon or wait until tonight when DH's boys have built up a little more from last night?

if your DH doesnt have a sperm issue it doesnt matter much. i did many timed BD cycles (got pregnant twice that way although they were both chemical) and to be honest if it were me id prob do it both times!! IMO you never know when the egg will be floating around and barring sperm issues it cant hurt to have more swimmers in the right place at the right time.

Re: Need some BD advice

I'd BD the day after a nighttime trigger and the day after and what the heck- add an extra day.

This was my schdule with IUIs.

I usually BD the night before monitoring apt. (in case the egg pops out) then I trigger that night. We BD the next day and 2 additional days after.

I start feeling O pains about 48 hours after trigger. In the past when I did OPKs (without trigger) I'd feel O pains and the OPK wouldnt be + until that night so I think I probably O'd after pains. That's why I add an extra day after trigger- to cover bases.

Have fun!

Is it sad that I miss the "old-fashioned" way?

I agree! Chat Icon (though this is probably too late of a reply to really help!)
