Need sleeping advice
DD1 was such a great sleeper as a newborn/baby that I never had any issues with her sleeping/napping ever. DD2 (10 weeks old) is giving me some issues, and I partly blame myself. Out of pure desperation a few weeks ago, I put her down for her morning nap on her belly. I know it's a big no-no but like I said...I was desperate. Of course she napped quietly, peacefully and for so long. Since then I put her on her belly only for her morning naps when I am in the same room as her and i keep an eye on her. She is great with lifting and turning her head, but again, I know she should be on her back.
Now, I've screwed myself. When it comes time for bedtime I swaddle her and put her on her back and she hates it. Today I tried napping her on her back swaddled and unswaddled, and she hated it. She will only sleep soundly on her belly. Right now she's swaddled in the rnp sleeping but it took a LONG time of rocking her, letting her sleep on my chest to get her to sleep.
Ok, all this babbling...I'm just looking for advice. I need to transition her daytime naps to her back; I need to stop the nighttime swaddling soon bc she really hates it and squirms/grunts so much in her sleep when swaddled; (but won't sleep unswaddled on her back) and I eventually need to transition from rnp to crib.
Any advice????
