need quick help please!

We have a beach family photo shoot coming up in a few weeks. I've selected denim and pale blue + grey as our color scheme. Of course, DH and the boys have 700+ things to choose from but I have none.

Found this in J Crew's sale, have 30% off but it ends tonight. What do you think - open, with jeans?



I found this as a possibility to go under it - or was thinking even a tank?

while pretty, it's not what i would picture for a beach photo shoot. how about a maxi dress? or even a halter tank with shorts?

I did order it but not with the linen tee - I think that would have made it too oddly formal. Instead I ordered it with this tank:



I love the dress that you posted, Kitty, but I definitely don't want to stick out so much since the boys and my DH are wearing jeans.

I'm going to try it together - blazer open - with jeans and flip flops (I like the juxtaposition of formal in a beach setting - as long as it's not a prom dress ) but worst case scenario I can just add it to my work wardrobe and find something else if I don't like it.
