Need prayers please!
So I posted the other day that I had an ultrasound and the baby had an enlarged bowel. The first thing out of the drs mouth was that it could be an indicator for downs or CF. Which to me doesn't make much sense because I had the materniti21 and was tested for CF as a carrier but my husband was not so we are clear. I think he was just talking without looking at my chart. But I'm still nervous. I have another ultrasound today with the delivering dr and I am hoping that I can at least get some more information or even better that the bowel is not enlarged. I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant and it doesn't make sense to me that this is just happening now considering I'm 35 and have done EVERY blood test under the sun. But I could really use everyones prayers....I have the dr apt today at 430 and I will let you know how it goes! TIA.

Sending you lots of prayers. I hope that you get good news this afternoon- just a thought on the Maternit21 test- it is a screening test and while it does have a very high detection rate there is still a small percentage of cases it misses- you may want to bring this up with your doctor.
