need opinions on DS's shots at doc's today
I'm taking ds to the doc today, and hes scheduled for blood work, a chicken pox shot, and a measels shots (doing mmr separate) do you think thats too much on him for today or should I split it up into 2 visits?

There are many opinions on this. I know the trauma of DS even seeing the nurse come in that gives the shots is completely heartbreaking. He gets hysterical as soon as he sees her. So, I want him to see her as little as possible. I just follow the dr's schedule of shots.

i think part of the reason i'm second guessing this is bc I wont be home tonight...out w/the girls for the SATC premiere, anyhow I just dont want DS crying the whole time i'm gone and giving dh a hard time. bc hes cranky from the shots
