Need Lunch ideas -- what to feed my son who is allergic to Peanuts and Eggs?

I can feed him something with an egg in it (like chicken cutlets dipped in egg and breaded, meatballs, etc.), but he can't have an scrambled egg, omlet, etc.

My first son is not allergic to anything--had no problem with PBnJ or scrambled eggs.

I think he's getting tired of grilled cheese for lunchChat Icon

Loey also has a nut allergy.

For lunch I pretty much always send leftovers from dinner! So maybe try to think of more dinner-like items. Roasted chicken drumsticks or thighs with rice and a veggie. Hot dog, hamburger, grilled chicken, meatballs, meatloaf, pasta, pulled pork, roasted pork shoulder, etc. I usually send the leftovers from dinner and some fruit/cheese. You can also do breakfasty items like pancakes (can make a sandwich with cream cheese or jelly in the middle), bagels, waffles, etc.

Also, in a pinch... my go-to meal for him is a plain cheese quesadilla. If you have any leftover chicken or veggies you can always add that in.

DD is allergic to peanuts as well. For lunch I usually make her a cream cheese and jelly sandwich, or cold cut sandwich, mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, pasta with butter, or left overs from dinner.

I pretty much do Mexican all the time because it's such a great mix of veggies. DS is allergic to nuts, egg, AND milk but like your DS, mine can have some of those items that are cooked in the food.

I'll do:
-the microwavable organic brown rice from Trader Joes with some fresh chunky salsa, cheese and guacamole and some cut up chicken.
-a cheese and guac sandwich on whole wheat (the kid loves guac and it's a healthy fat he isn't getting from milk),
-burritos with a whole wheat mini wrap, brown rice, pinto beans, more guac, cut up chicken, tomatoes and salsa
-leftover pasta and sauce from dinner
-chicken nuggets from Trader Joes with sweet potato fries
for sides or snack I will load him up on fruit and veggies like grape tomatoes, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, etc.

My DS is allergic to peanuts and eggs - he can't have eggs in anything, at all.
I don't keep either in the house.
My kids usually eat sunflower seed butter for lunch, or a bagel with cream cheese. Sometimes grilled cheese. They are fine with little variation, lol.

My DH is allergic to egg and CANT have anything cooked with it - that's fun, let me tell you! Chat Icon Chat Icon

My girlfriend's DD is allergic to peanuts, egg and dairy. Her DD eats pasta with sauce a LOT.

Also, Costco's chicken nuggets with the Mickey ears are dairy/egg/nut free.
