Need last minute gift help (it's for my mom)
I am in desperate need of ideas. I have no idea what to get my mom. She does so much for DH, DS1, DS2 and I and deserves something great but I have no idea what. I've been thinking about it for weeks and nothing. She doesn't like to receive things that are "for the house" so no appliances, kitchenaid, blender, no Keurig, etc. It's tough to find clothes that fits her well bc she's petite, shoes are difficult too bc. I've already done the photo calendars and canvas on demand pics so that's out this year. I've done pricey gifts over the years (LV bag, Tiffany gifts) but with 2 DC, including a newborn, can't do that this year. I've done the massage gift certificates (still hasn't been used) and perfume. I am so at a loss! She deserves something nice but what????

What about a girls day out with you? Maybe dinner and a movie or a spa day to use the old gift certificates. Maybe a cooking class?

I was gonna suggest the Vera Bradly throw blanket. They are so nice & super cozy! They have cute slippers too. Does she eat out? Maybe a gift card to her favorite resturant, the movies, a show in the city, a night in the city

What about a piece of jewelry? Last year we got my MIL a white gold and pave diamond key pendent ( Tiffany style)... She loved it and gets so many compliments on it.

Thanks for all of the ideas. I like the Vera Bradley tote idea. Maybe I could buy more things and put them in there. The show is a good idea too, I did that once. The cooking class is good too but I think she's tired of cooking although that would be fun. Ugh, have to decide by tomorrow.

I always had the hardest time choosing gifts for my mom. One year I got her an aerogarden and she absolutely loved it (to my surprise). She even went and bought a whole range of additional plants/pods.

Maybe tickets to a concert or show, or a overnight stay at a bed and breakfast, a GC to where she gets her hair done.
