Need ideas (I am so not a creative person)...

Hi Girls,

I needed some help coming up with baby shower centerpiece-type ideas.

I'm having my shower at a tea place, we'll be having tea, salad, quiches, sandwiches, scones etc.

The place looks really nice and really doesn't need much decorating. A small arrangement on each table will do.

My mom suggested that for the table centerpieces, we use a tea cup (i imagine she means larger ones) as the "vase" and fill it with flowers. I think it's not a bad idea.

Do you guys have any other suggestions/ideas?

Also, where can I look for these tea cups. Cutesy ones not the ones with floral designs. I am going to check out Home Goods and Michael's but am wondering where else to look. Maybe an online site.

you could also use tea tins or teapots as a vase.

if the food will be served on tiered towers you might not have too much room...u could just do bud vases with a single flower or something simple like that (just a glass container w/flowers w/a pretty bow if u want).

alice in wonderland-ish type stuff maybe? the mad hatter, the rabbit, the cheshire cat. you can use more of the blue for boy, but it'l be cutesy cool for all the ladies at high tea time ;)

I think thats a good idea to use Tea Kettles as flower pots. You can check LakesideCollection.com. They have cute cheap stuff that might give your different ideas also. GL!
