Need Ideas.....
for a 1st anniversary gift to DH
i know its "paper" and its sooo hard. i wish i could have someone draw a sketch of this one photo of us or something like that.
i am not very good at paper gift ideas.
then iwas thinking about doing those stupid "sexy" photos done for him (of myself, ooh what a treat ) but i wouldnt know where to begin with that one---let alone who knows if im that daring with some stranger.
please help me with ideas!!!!! thansk!

you can do that but how about scratch offs or how about buying him a star which you recieve on paper i am not sure how to go and buy it but have heard of people doing that!or tickets to the movies or tickets for a play! they are made of paper!good luck Jess! and Happy anniversary to you both!

Grab an extra papergown next time you're at the doctor's office
There are plenty of sketch artists that you can find in Manhattan - hit any tourist location. That's a cute idea.
I wouldn't get the star thing - it's a scam. No company can name stars.

I did the sexy photos at Glamour Shots in the mall. It was well worth it and we plan on framing some of the prints and hanging them in our master bathroom since that is a private room.

DH got me these paper lamps from Crate and Barrel - you can buy them individually and I love them.

I gave DH sports tickets and he gave me a portrait of the two of us I had mentioned I wanted. Money is paper, lottery tix, gift certificates

I generally stuck to the paper thing, DH really didnt... I gave DH a gift certificate to get stuff for his motorcycle.. not terribly romantic, but he wanted that so bad! Oh and lotto tix and stuff like that...
For me, he planned a weekend in the city so basically he just gave me the reservation /confimation and that was the gift .. so wait, yeah, I guess he did paper too!
(he also got my wedding day flowers recreated by our florist, which was awesome!)
