Need hotel in/around Charlotte, NC

We are going down at the end of June and need a place. My realtor hasn't gotten back to me and I am worried everything will be booked for the July 4th holiday....

Does anybody know of any?

We already tried Courtyard Matthews, no good....

Look on expedia and search by address-my sister lives in Charlotte FM me if you want her street name and you can use that(or just use the address of teh Marriott that was unavailable. The Wingate I think has decent rates. we stayed aty Microtel which is cheap but nothing fancy. The area is called the University area

Re: Need hotel in/around Charlotte, NC

I lived up in Huntersville, 20 minutes north of uptown charlotte. Hotels up there were nice and inexpensive. My family always stayed at the candlewood. There are tons of restaurants and shops...

My old zip code is 28078...

not for nothing, but it is my ideal location to purchase a home. My husband just isn't settled in his location with his company yet...try and check out some homes up there though.

I am currently in Ballantyne...also very nice, just more pricey.
