Need honest opinions... WR!
I really want to wear gold shoes with my dress. How do you like these? Do they go with my wedding dress??
Do they go? What do you think? Should I just order them because if I hate them I can always return them. They're not expensive at all (like around $25!).

(pay no attention to the do-dad on her hip... I'm having that removed)

trust me, no ONE will see your shoes, unless you have them photographed 
my advice is, wear something comfy!

I know no one will see my shoes, but I'm a big shoe gal, shoes are pivitol for me  ... I'm concerned about comfort but I feel like no matter how comfortable the shoes are, my feet will ache no matter what from being on them all day. UGH! The stress!!!!

you're probably right, no matter what, after being on your feet all day, they will hurt.
DH and I had a 3 hour photo session before our ceremony, then the ceremony, then CH, then reception. OMG I couldn't WAIT to get my measly 1.5" heels off at the reception. thank GOD for those chinese slippers!!

Yeah, I have had a pair of white flip flops for my wedding day for MONTHS... plus I have a pair of white slipper socks that have rhinestones on them... both as a backup... I'm ready for sore feet! LOL

I like them, and I like the idea of gold shoes, but in the picture they look ivory, which might look weird with a white dress. I looks like you tried to match but didn't. That could just be the pictures though--I would order them and see.

Slingbacks with stockings can be evil - I did it once and spent the entire time putting the shoes back on my feet... just a warning in case you were planning to go that route.
I'm not so sure if they go, but if you can return them you might as well get them and see for yourself.

Dually noted... but I don't plan on wearing stockings. I ordered them with the notion that if the color isn't right or they don't look right with my dress I can return them. Thanks!!

unless you have tried them on i wouldn't buy them - nina shoes are VERY uncomfortable, IMO. and i have owned more than one pair, i had to give up buying them (though they are cute!) because they hurt after only a few minutes.

i didnt want to wear white shoes o i wore shoes that were my favorite color (champagne)
and it looked hot
my shoes
also kittythestray wore leopard shoes and it looked perfect (see pics in her wedding review)
wear shoes that fit your personality

i LOVE the idea of gold shoes - i actually wanted gold for my wedding - i have to be honest and say i dont really like the shoes you have posted.
i think you could go a little fancier on your wedding day. the color isnt a true GOLD it looks kinda tanish - i dont think its going to give you the effect youre probably looking for.
though for $25 buy them and see - you can wear them w/ somethign else if you decide you dont want to wear them w/ your wedding dress.

Kitty was my inspiration to do something different... I think she inspired a lot of people to think outside of the box when it comes to what shoes to wear!!! Your's are GORGEOUS!!!

That is my fear about these shoes... that they are too tan... but like you said for $25 and free shipping and free returns, what's the harm... I ordered them!

Really??? I found them to be the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever worn!!! In fact a BFF of mine & I *shared* a pair of black ones for YEARS for special events until we finally killed them!!

personally I don't like them. My sister wore gold Jimmy Choo's with her wedding dress and she wears them occaisionaly outfit permitting. Worth the money.

I agree!! I think a strappy silver or gold with some diamond-like embellishments would be perfect..

i tried onsomething similar and they looked funny on my feet
but i think they are cute - and my shoes are NINA too!
I went to the shoe store and i got these foam strips that you put on the back of the slingback a MUST if you are going to wear them with no stockings!! the shoe place i went to gave them to me for FREE even though i didnt buy anything there, I thought that was so nice!
