need help with theme for DD's 2nd birthday!
My DD is turning 2 in July and loves loves books so was thinking of having a storybook theme. Any ideas of what I can do with this theme, how to decorate, what kind of cake, etc. Has anyone done a theme like this? Please help!

When my cousin did her oldest's b-day party, she did a general Dr. Seuss themed party. She is a huge fan of the books. She actually took a corner of the Florida room and laid out colorful wrapping paper on the wall and part of the floor and made it a place to take fun pictures complete with props (think Cat in the Hat hat, feather boas, etc...). She also took some time during the party to do storytime and read a Dr. Seuss book to the kids. It was cute and fun.

One idea for the party if your doing a storybook theme would be to find some character removable wall decals . I know from experience that wall-pops.com has a ton of different character stickers, including Nickelodeon and Disney. Young kids have a blast taking them off the wall and putting them somewhere else by themselves. Best of luck and enjoy the party!
