Need help with colors
So we decided on a color carpet for our living room. The color is a light beige. We wanted to do lenox tan by benjamin moore for the walls and accent it with burgendy pieces, pictures, etc. Do you think that is too boring and too much tan.
I dont know what color to paint with beige carpets. ANy advice
Thanks karen

Re: Need help with colors
What about one burgundy wall to break up the tan? Though I don't think it's too much.
What color is the furniture?

Re: Need help with colors
I'm not big on tan/beige so I think doing beige carpet and tan walls may be too much tan. On the bright side though, I think with beige carpet you can paint pretty much any color you want. If the carpet is neutral your options are endless.

Re: Need help with colors
i think the lenox tan w/ splashs of burgandy and sage around the room would look great. you could also add a cheap area rug that pulls all the colors together as well as window treatments.

I love the idea of an accent wall painted burgandy. The colors are great together, you just need good accessories to pull it together!

Re: Need help with colors
we just put carpet in our computer room that is the same color.
i wanted to paint burgendy but went with a dark olive instead and i love it... i thought it went better with the rug...
either way- can't go wrong- good luck!

I love the olives, but DH wants the tan, brown for the living room and the green olive for the dinning room. I think though if anyone is fimilar with BM colors we decided on willmington tan, which has a gold tone to it. thanks again
