need help with a bachelorette party!

hi girls! i'm in a pickle....i am in a wedding this month, am not SUPER close with the bride, although i love her dearly, we just don't hang out all the time or anything. the rest of the girls in the bridal party are either her sisters in law or her BFF...NONE of them are doing anything to plan and the bachelorette party is supposed to be this Saturday. I feel AWFUL for the poor bride and frankly, it’s stressing me out to not know what is going on.

I’ve only lived on long island for a couple of years and have been with my husband the whole time, so I don’t really have much experience with bars and clubs….the city is out cuz we want sort of low maintenance, she’s NOT into strippers and we only have half a day so we can’t do the wineries. We were thinking of going somewhere like Ciao Baby for dinner and then heading out to some bars, but I don’t want to take the reigns and then pick something lame. Can you guys help? Any and all suggestions are welcome! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!Chat Icon

I would do that or maybe Hanu in Huntington Village and then do the bars around there afterward. If you only want bars. Mirage is a nice nightclub and/or Posh at the Garden City Hotel is nice too.

I went to Besito (Huntington - same owners as Honu) for a bachelorette party which was nice, too.

I think you have to make reservations WAYYY in advance for Besito, just FYI.

Re: need help with a bachelorette party!

Maybe you can get manis and pedis together or something at a cute spa (I can suggest one if you would like to do this) or perhaps meet for dinner somewhere fun, like at Red in Huntington Village....either that or just have a really nice afternoon brunch someplace like the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. You're very nice to plan it!

Really? She did reservations on a Monday for that Saturday. But they had just opened, it might be busier now.
