Need help selling Travel System please

I have never sold anything or had a garage sale, so I don't know the etiquette and am looking for advice.

I would like to sell our Chicco Travel System (infant carrier, car base, and stroller), it retails for $299.00 at BRU and is in great condition.

I would like to post in on Craiglist first, what can I ask for it?

But I will be honest and say that it isn't recommended to buy a used carseat b/c you can't be 100% sure it hasn't been damaged (not talking about YOURS, just in the general sense) so you might want to think about a price for the whole thing and also a price for the pieces of it as well

What Kate said. In your listing you may want to add the Date of Manufacture of the seat and specify that it's never been in an accident/dropped etc.

I'd say, depending upon condition the set could go for about 150-175 but you could probably piece it out for more.

I did a quick search of CL but the prices vary wildly. I saw as low as 50 for the seat, but about 100 seemed average with one base. The stroller prices ranged from 50 to 100 it seems but I don't know which model you have.

when selling used items, you can't exact the retail value.

I would put it on craigslists & here. Put it with the carseat, what do you have to loose.

I would ask $150, maybe somebody will offer $100-$125.

ETA: DO NOT sell separately. You'll end up getting stuck with pieces. TRUST ME!!!
