Need help potty training.

So my son. Tristan, will be three on December 1st, I really want to potty train him, but he is so resistant. I try on and off, on when he seem sinterested, I am consistent, but he just acts like it is no big deal. I have tried bribing him with cars ad candy, whatever seems fitting at the time, I have tried the naked method, I have tried using big boy pants, I have wasted money on pull ups, I have tried everything. He just has no interest in it. Should I wait until he is three or should I just keep trying. I am getting overwhelmed by cleaning up these messes. I ask him to go potty and he tryies but then will pee wherever. I have an older son and he was easy, my daughte was easyas well, do I have a difficult child, my mom always tells me I fainally got a normal child. My other tow were so easy from the start, this one is stubborn. Any help or advice is welcome. Thank you ladies!!!!

By the way he shows all the signs of being ready, just doesn't care if he pees his pants is all.

He may not be ready, but I wouldn't give up or hold off on trying to train him. We gave our son a deadline. We told him when he was three, he would be a big boy and he couldn't have pull-ups. I would put underwear UNDER his pullups to make him uncomfortable. Part of the problem with everything being super absorbent is that it doesn't bother them as much.

He also wanted to take swimming lessons so that was his goal. He can't take swimming lessons unless he's potty trained.

The best advice I ever received on potty training was to go cold turkey. Don't go back to diapers - only use pull-ups with underwear in them.
