need help planning a vactaion

we usually do cruises every year, last year we took our kids for the first time 13 and 8 both boys and they loved it.. We are trying to plan this years vactiion and now my husband says maybe we should do an all inclusive place.. Here is some background.. we travel in May right now are dates leaving are either May23 or May 31st, we do not have passports but want to go out of the country..lugguage is a huge issue for us, 3 of us are divers and have our own gear which weighs alot, plus are regular bags.. we looked into doing the same cruise as last year leaving NY on the carnival miricle the cost for the 4 of us in a 8F cabin is $3500. which is a good price, jr suite is $4400. could i really book some thing for a week at the price air included? and can we get passports by then ? and great places to take the kids would be a help also. TIA

It took us about 5 weeks to get our passports. They say allow 8.

You can expedite passports and get them very fast. You have time
