Need help getting antiques appraised
My mothers has a set of glasses that my grandmother got as a wedding gift in 1929, They are (we think) from Tiffany's. My mother wants to sell them, but we have no idea what they are worth or how to go about it. I told her to call Tiffany's directly, but does anyone else know how to go about this. All total we have about 50 glasses of different sizes. I tried looking on ebay but couldn't find anything.

Is there any information (maybe serial number) on the bottoms of the dishes?

There is no marking of any kind on them at all. All we have to go on is what my grandmother told my mother. I don't even know if they are from Tiffany's - who knows - someone could have put them in a Tiffanys box but bought them at Woolworths - its almost 70 years ago and all the people are not around anymore!! They are good glasses though - you can tell by the way they ping when you touch them.

I would put a call into Sotheby's and Christie's and see what they say-- they may be able to help, or direct you to someone who can.
