need help from you bakers
Ok I am not a baker at all. Plus I feel like I really have no time to bake but I want to bake something good for the holidays. I want to impress my DH. It can be anything as long as it's not too complicated and not too time consuming. I need help desperately. I want to make something good. Please help!!!!!!!!!

Not sure what type of dessert you are looking to bake but I saw this yesterday on Pioneer Woman's blog and it looks delicious and not too hard to bake

I find bettycrocker.com has a lot of modified box cake/cookie dough recipes that are easier than they look and have a big wow factor.
Ooh, like these, Chocolate Ganache Raspberry Mini Cakes!
But, I still maintain that red velvet truffles are the easiest and a HUGE hit for any time since they are so easy to coordinate with whatever holiday/event you're making them for. They are DH's FAVORITE.
You can use boxed cake mix and canned frosting and even if your cake is messed up and breaks apart or something, it doesn't matter since you're just going to mush it up anyway. lol! And they are easy to make festive. You can just sprinkle on red and green sprinkles or maybe even crushed candy canes!
