Need help finding towels/pot holders/etc for my kitchen
We are FINALLY going to be unpacking things I rec'd at my bridal shower (in April 2006) and I am in the market for some nice towels/potholders/etc.
The walls are white, as are the cabinets. The trim and cabinet's harware are painted a darkish green (like a dark kelly green, but not quite evergreen). My dishes/glasses are blue. I would want something to coordinate with both.
I don't want just a color, want a design. But everything I've seen at Target and BBB don't really interest me enough to buy.
Any ideas?? (Oh, and I don't want to spend an arm and a leg)
TIA!

OK, I'm all about ikea and homegoods..... but.....
I discovered williams and sonoma dishtowels (the three pack they sell) are soooo absorbant and amazing. They also wash wonderfully. I pitched my ikea towels and now am a transformed woman. Never again will I buy anything else.
I think the three pack costs something like $16.... worth every penny....

I second williams sonoma. They are great towels and potholders. At the outlet I bought a whole bunch and they were 60% off.

I always eyed those WS towels but didn't like the idea of having white towels.
But we all things WS so that will be the next thing we try there. Don't want to hijack, just wanted to say thanks because it helps me too!

I haven't had a problem with the mixed color/white towels.... a little oxyclean powder in each laundry load goes a long way
