need help finding something
i have something in my head that i want..
a butcher block-type thing for my kitchen. i want to have wheels on it that lock. when in place, i can put stools up to it and use it as a kitchen table, or, use it as extra counter space.
do they make such a thing?
i would like to get four stools around it, ideally... but beggars can't be choosers.

nice job ladies! my intention is to have this pushed against a wall, when needed for kids to eat something (informal nights) i could pull it out put the stools up against it and voila! kids have a place to sit and eat...
you think this would work?

I have a friend who has this in her kitchen and it's really nice:
It's from Crate and Barrel, and has leaves that you can fold up when you want it to be like a table. You can assemble it with or without the wheels.

Check out JC Penney....if you use the code Merry24 (I think) the shipping is free. they had some nice ones for really good prices! Search for kitchen carts.
