Re: need help addressing an envelope
Do they have the same last name?
If so, then Mr & Dr Smith is fine

Re: need help addressing an envelope
Okay one more question...
If I am inviting my FEMALE friend with her boyfriend, can I write "Ms. Betty Smith and Mr. Chris Jones"? Can the woman's name come first -- since she is the one that's really invited?

Because technically he's a friend too...but she's my friend and he's now my friend because of her...does that make sense?

Re: need help addressing an envelope
I thnk the Dr. title goes first.
Dr. and Mr. Smith
I remember reading that the "higher ranking" title gets listed first

Re: need help addressing an envelope
When I was addressing mine I did this:
If the couple was dating and 1. Lived together - guy went first 2. Didn't live together - the person I was closest to was addressed first to his/her address.
