Need help-- special gift from DD to her grandma (not Mother's Day related)
DD has been going to MIL's 3x/week for 2.5 years (since she was 3 months old)...that will be ending in June...she'll be home with DH & I for the summer, then will be starting pre-school, so she'll no longer go to MIL's.
MIL is soooo sad, she's going to miss DD tons (and vice versa I'm sure)...MIL is very active, she and DD have lots of fun together all day!
I really want to get MIL a special gift from DD commemorating their fun time together. Any ideas? Price range is definitely flexible. I want it to be something from DD, so not a spa gift certificate/flowers kind of thing, KWIM? I can have her make something (and definitely will have her make her a nice card, etc)....but what else?

What about a memory photo quilt ?
Aside form photos you can put also put verses, poems etc....

Can you take DD shopping at a gift store or swarovski (sp?) and have her pick something out herself?

what about a digital picture frame and you can include pics of the time when she was with her & make sure to give her new pics all the time that she can put on it!

What about a necklace from Etsy?
You can have it personalized.
They have tons of mommy necklaces, im sure they have jewelry for grandmas.

Liking these ideas ladies, thanks!
She already has a digital picture frame, so that idea is a good one but out unfortunately. I definitely want DD to help me pick something out...I like the Swarovski idea or something similar...and the necklace.
