Need help - DS is sick (throwing up) AGAIN!
I feel like I'm at the end of my rope. I just got another phone call from my m-i-l that DS threw up again.
He threw up Sunday from a tickle in his throat.
He was throwing up with a fever 2 or 3 weeks ago.
And a few weeks before that.
And the pattern continues.
He is CONSTANTLY puking - wether he is sick, has a tickle, was playing too rough, eats/drinks too fast I just dont know what to do anymore.
When he was a baby, the dr. said maybe he had reflux (he would throw up what seemed like his entire meal) but was never cranky or acted like he was still hungry and his weight always increased, so we never put him on medication, because regardless of the throwing up, he was very healthy. And they never did any testing to see if it was in fact reflux.
I'm wondering if this is all reflux related? If he has a stuffy nose, he will throw up from the nasal drip. ANYTHING sets him off and he seems to have a very sensitive stomach. Even if he eats something he doesnt like, he throws up usually before he can even spit it out.
Someone please give me advice. He goes back to the dr. at the end of this month, and i plan on asking them. I have a friend who is a pediatrician in NC and he said some kids are just pukey.

My sister was that way and still is. She is in her 30s and the tiniest little thing will make her puke. I am 6 years younger than her and at the dinner table when I was about 5 I would chew my food and show it to her to make her puke.
