Need Hall recommendations PLEASE!!
OK so stupid me booked a hall for DD's christening party without actually counting everyone and thinking no one from Florida (we have a lot of family there) would actually come. Well, turns out more are coming than I thought and the place I booked is going to be too small. Sooo we need to find a new place. I am looking for a Knights of Columbus or like that that will hold 125. All the ones I keep looking at have a max of 90-96. We are looking from Wesy Babylon area to New hyde Park area. Church is in NHP, but we know that only close family will be at the church so heading east is no biggie. Anyone know any places?? I checked the NHP Knights of Columbus and its booked already. We are also not ruling out catering hall or restaurants that can hold that many, but we are looking to stay at $30-$35 max a head. Any suggestions??? Thanks!!

Not srue of pricing, but a few suggestions....
Inn at New Hyde Park- I attended my friend's DD's baptism here, it was great!
Coral House in Baldwin
Knights of Columbus in Oceanside
Pompei in West Hempstead- Had my baby shower there, and know many people who have had events here

I second The Inn at New Hyde Park...great food and it's beautiful inside. It's right on Jericho Tnpke.
Louie's Restaurant in Port Washington is also great. It has a big room in back, and it overlooks the water.

Thanks girls for the suggestions..unfortunately, the Inn at NHP is booked already, as is Pompei (had my shower there too). I am going to check out Coral House next, forgot about them. I swear it was easier planning my wedding than this Christening.

Try the American Legion in Williston Park. 2 large rooms each with a different amount of people it can hold. I'm sure the size could easily accommodate your party. There is a Cedarhurst paper right across the street for balloons or other decorations if you want them.
For 2 family parties we held them there and have been to other events there. We used Domenic's Deli for the catering and pricing came to what you listed for one party, lower for the other. I'll be having DD's first birthday there and I'll probably hire a waitress to make the day easier on myself.
