Need Guest Bedding help!!

Right now the room is unpainted so I am open to suggestions.
I have two black distressed type nightstands, a similar style TV stand and just got this small chest for some drawer space.
Can someone help me find some inexepensive bedding that goes with the black and this piece and suggest a paint color if any (the room is an off white color right now with light beige carpet).
TIA

I have something like the first in my guest room...
Or you could do the second if you want to keep it toned down.
Both sets are $39.99 at Linens and Things.

Here are some bedding sets I like. The first one is my fave and from linens and things. The next is also from LNT and the last is from BB&B. I think a nice olive/tan would be a great color to pick up from the color of the draws, but lighter. (Coastal fog by Benjamin Moore might be nice)

I like the colors in that first set, what did you find it under?
I'm hoping I can find a quilt/coverlet because I have down comforter with a plain duvet already.

Me too! But, I don't think that it will really go witht hat furniture - they're too very different styles imo.

I'd look for something slightly more modern. My suggestion is to pick one of teh colors from the chest, go down a few shades and look for something in that vein. Then for the walls, pick another color in the chest, go down a few shades and paint it that. this way you're tying everything together but there's not one overwhelming color in the room.

I was thinking of doing this purple/lavender spread

And maybe olive and lavender sheets and accents? Chat Icon

Re: Need Guest Bedding help!!

I would stay away from patterned bedspreads and just get a simple set to match one of the colors on the chest...and then maybe just some accent pillows.

Thats what I was going to suggest. Maybe a solid green comforter, then get blue and purple throw pillow, and put a black blanket by the foot of the bed.
