Need gift ideas please
For a 6 year old who is into sports, outdoor summer, backyard and beach stuff. It's for a co-worker's daughter's birthday next weekend party in their building's community room. I was planning to get her some books, puzzles or lego pieces and I ran it by her mom, and she said her DD won't like it and would prefer what's mentioned above.
And for a 7 year old boy.. what do they like these days?

Yeah, I hope the mom at least worded it somewhat tactfully lol. It also makes me sad that a 6yo wouldn't like books.

thanks girls.. I appreciate the ideas! I didn't think much of it, a bunch of us were chatting and it was right before a meeting so it just rolled out of her mind I guess.
