Need fall outing suggestions!
One of my best friends is coming to visit me in 2 weeks. It's sort of too late for apple picking, and too early for pumpkin picking. Being that she lives in the city, I know she always appreciates suburban/quaint outings. I have a 2.5 year old, she has no kids. We have the afternoon and early evening only.
Does anyone know of any fall festivals going on Oct. 3, or any nice places to go for a fall afternoon out? Preferably nassau or western Suffolk. TIA.

Need fall outing suggestions!
I think Old Bethpage village is having a fall festival that weekend. We took DD last year when she was just turning 2 and it was really cute and there was a lot to see and do.

I think you would still be able to go apple picking at that stage..if you can you could do apple picking and maybe the wineries.
