Need easy appetizers
I am in charge of thanksgiving appetizers and quite frankly I am lost. Can you please recommend something easy and simple. Also something that doesn’t need tons of ingredients.

shrimp cocktail
fresh mozz and tomato
cheese platter with crackers
spinach balls (super easy, google "kraft spinach balls", i leave out the mushrooms)
stuffed mushrooms

You can do a ton with just toasted bread...
you can put tomatoes and basil on top and call it bruschetta, you can top it with hummus and olives, etc.
You can do cheese and cracker platter.
You can do chips and dip.
You can get chopped meat and make mini-meatballs.

Ina Garten's Roasted Shrimp Cocktail is so simple and such a favorite with people!
Also - a simple cheese tray with some pepperoni and grapes served with crackers is great for company to nibble before the main event.

Veggies and dip
Pita chips with garlic and herb spread
Pepper jelly poured over cream cheese with water crackers
We tend to keep the apps fairly simple since dinner is so heavy. No need to go overboard.

My apps for thanksgiving are:
cheese platter (fontina and brie)
fig tarte
mini carrots and celery with spinach dip (uses knorr veggie dip packet)
vegetarian chopped liver
crackers
tostitos
spinach pies
artichokes wrapped in philo dough
