Need Dentist ASAP
I've been up all night with such a bad toothache. My gums are extremely swollen and red.
I'm almost 21 weeks pregnant and scared to death of the dentist while pregnant, but I know I can ignore this any longer.
Can you please recommend a good dentist that takes insurance?

I have a fantastic dentist that I LOVE...pricey but GOOD - and highly recommended...
I know he takes insurance - but don't know what ones??? sorry.
Dr. Raskin in Valley Stream off of Rockaway Ave. 826-1100.
I've called as early as 8 before and got lucky they were there.
Good Luck, toothaches $uck to begin with and even more so PG.

LisaW recommended her dentist to me years ago and we love it there.
Bonnie Helfner in Commack. I was just there last night (but just for a cleaning), but DH just had a lot of work done...they call you that night to make sure you are doing OK and after one of the appoints, DH was in pain and she had him come to the office at like 11 PM to fix the issue.

I just saw a dentist at Island Dental Associates for the first time 2 weeks ago, 639 Hempstead Tpk. in Franklin Square. I was 26 weeks pregnant at the time, and thought I was treated great! They took my insurance and the office is really clean and modern. They open at 9 am.
I couldn't remember the name of the dentist I saw, so I Googled the practice, and I found a YouTube commercial for them! So weird. Anyway: Dental Office
Me, my friend who recommended them, and her DH have all seen 3 different dentists there and we were all happy with them, so I think you could just call and get anybody there and be fine. Good luck!

I go to Sunrise Dental Associates. One of the dentists there used to date my friend and I have been going there ever since. Everything is state of the art and all of the staff and Dentists are really nice.

I go to John Lumpp in Hicksvlle, he is great and takes insurance. I ahve been to him since I am PG so he is great with that. 516-735-7500
