Need comfort

I'm starting to freak myself out....Beta test is Wednesday, but I'm looking for ANY little sign of AF coming. Any little twinge I feel, I am terrified they are cramps. DH tells me to relax, and I know that no good comes from worrying myself to death.....I am just SO AFRAID of a negative......So afraid.....

The last few days are the hardest! Try to keep yourself busy until Wednesday.

Re: Need comfort

I know it's easier said than done, but keep yourself busy enough to keep your mind off of it. Watch TV, work, play a mindless computer game, go to the beach...anything to keep your mind off of it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Need comfort

Thanks, ladies......I'm DYING to POAS, but would I get a false positive at this point? I'm 12 days post O. 9 past transfer.

Re: Need comfort

I am sure these last few days are the hardest and trying to focus on anything else is probably near impossible BUT you have to keep yourself busy and not think about it too much! Listen to your DH and try to relax, you have pretty much done your part and the rest is not up to you!

If your beta is this Wednesday, at this point you would not get a false positive. The trigger should be totally gone by now.

Re: Need comfort

Michele, I know exactly how you feel! I am only 3dp3dt and I am getting anxious. I can't imagine how you feel.

Everyone is right - keep yourself busy! Go shopping, read a book, watch a movie, etc. Wednesday will be here before you know it and you will have answers! I have a good feeling about this for you! You are in my prayers!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Hang in there!!!! If you do POAS, don't freak yourself out - I didn't see a good positive on the stick until the morning of my beta which was 13dp3dt. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Need comfort

Oh, hang in there. Its really hard. I'm going to start referring to the IVF cycle in levels of difficulty. This being one of the higher...LOL...

Remember, you will not feel anything most likely. Its so early. You cannot know by feeling. So, stay positive. Do what you feel comfortable with? To POAS or not to POAS, that is the question?

You can mess yourself up pretty bad if you POAS and give up and find out it was only too early to get your BFP. I say don't do it. But, that is why I have like 20 HPT under my bathroom sink. How am I ever gonna use them up if I don't POAS but keep buying them?
